We, at Howard University, identify and train a cadre of students early during their undergraduate years. We provide them with a foundation of knowledge and research skills through mentoring so that these students will excel in the interdisciplinary field of gerontology. This program is funded by the National Institutes of Health.
Howard University faculty members from the College of Arts and Sciences, School of Social Work, as well as the School of Medicine lead student trainees as they advance in their research.
